The design team at Shangri-La always carries a sketchbook with them, in case something catches their attention. From there on, the sketches are discussed with Youcef Aden. They all share ideas and interpretations and create technical artwork. Materials are chosen with our gemologist and workshop manager, and then a brief is given to the brilliant craftsman in Tibet. Nothing fazes our team, in fact, the more unusual or complicated the challenge, the happier they are!
